The new stem design project is under way to develop the best BMX parts ever made. It might seem that we have been dragging our feet, but we are not in it to make good parts. We have the resources to do an awesome job, so we hope that is the case.

Previous design deformation analysis. This design was being tested by Shawn Burnham. He found the steer tube clamp fatigued after multiple uses.

Current design. This is still in deformation simulations. The test is showing 4000 Ibs. generated by the screws which is over 4 times normal operational load.

  • 7075-T6 Aluminum
  • Beefed up around steer tube
  • Changed from chamfers to Conical Radi
